We manufacture untreated cedar tie plugs with standard spécification for : BNSF – Union Pacific – CSX – Canadian Pacific – Canadian National

We also manufacture BORATE treated cedar tie plug.

Cedar tie plugs all sizes are available also in bags.

Non treated cedar tie plugs

Cedar tie plug are manufactured with class 1 specifications. We supply 5 out of 6 class 1 R.R.

BORATE treated cedar tie plugs

Once the BORATE treated cedar tie plugs is installed in the RR tie, with the assistance of humidity, BORATE diffuses around the hole into the cracks for long term protection of the tie.

Wood around the BORATE treated cedar tie plugs becomes nonviable for insects and decay fungi. It not only fills the holes, but puts in a tie protection, giving extra life to the RR ties.
